The 1955 Pontiac Safari was built with Pontiac's
unique front-end bumper and grille along with the unique rear
tail light design.
Like many 1950s automobiles 1955 the Pontiac Safari was a
tribute to chrome and also featured sliding rear-seat
windows.
Although the interior styling of the Safari had the luxury
of the company's Star Liner models only 3,760 were built, the
lowest number of models in any of the 1955 Pontiac range.
